Hannah
Founder & Clinical Lead Nurse Prescriber
Hannah is the founder and clinical lead at Self Medical Aesthetics. A Registered Nurse with a Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing and a Master’s degree in Public Health, she brings over a decade of healthcare and aesthetics experience.
Alongside private practice, Hannah collaborates with the NHS, delivering Botox for chronic migraine, showcasing her expertise in both medical and cosmetic applications. Her skill and commitment to clinical excellence have been recognised by Allergan, who invited her to join their prestigious Professional Clinical Journey.
As a qualified Nurse Prescriber, Hannah offers safe, seamless treatment pathways tailored to each individual. She also mentors medical professionals across the UK as a national trainer with Acquisition Aesthetics.
At Self, Hannah brings advanced clinical knowledge, leadership, and a deep commitment to patient-centred care. Her vision is to create a supportive, medically-led environment where safety, integrity, and natural results are at the core, empowering both patients and staff to grow with confidence.
Alex
Aesthetic Nurse Specialist
Alex graduated from Northumbria University in 2018 and began her nursing career in cardiology, before progressing into emergency and critical care. She later moved into ophthalmology and currently works at Sunderland Eye Infirmary, where she specialises in administering toxin treatments for patients with blepharospasm.
With seven years of experience across both hospital and outpatient NHS settings, Alex has developed a strong foundation in patient safety, clinical precision, and compassionate care. She is also qualified in injectables and dermal fillers through Acquisition Aesthetics, one of the UK’s leading medical aesthetics training providers.
At Self, Alex brings a calm, methodical approach rooted in medical expertise. Her advanced understanding of facial anatomy, particularly around the eyes, allows her to treat delicate areas with skill and confidence. Her ongoing NHS role keeps her practice current and evidence-based, ensuring every patient receives safe, natural, and highly personalised results.
Sarah
Aesthetic Nurse Specialist & Prescriber
Sarah is a qualified Adult Nurse with a varied clinical background across both the UK and Australia. She began her nursing career in the neuro and trauma intensive care unit at the Royal Victoria Infirmary, where she developed a strong foundation in acute surgical care. Her interest in exploring healthcare internationally took her to Australia, where she worked in diverse clinical environments as an agency nurse.
On returning to the UK, Sarah completed a Diploma in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing. She now balances her role at Self Medical Aesthetics with her ongoing NHS position as a Band 6 Junior Sister in Sunderland’s Cardiac Cath Lab.
Sarah advanced her training into aesthetic medicine in 2022, qualifying in dermal fillers, toxin, and skin boosters. She brings a calm, thoughtful approach to her practice, underpinned by years of clinical experience and a passion for delivering safe, subtle, and confidence-boosting results.
At Self, Sarah is committed to making every patient feel understood, reassured, and supported throughout their treatment journey.
Sophia
Advanced Aesthetician & Skin Specialist
Sophia is a degree-qualified Advanced Aesthetician with a strong academic background and a passion for skin health. She holds both a Foundation Degree in Aesthetic Practice and Spa Management and a BA (Hons) in Advanced Skin Techniques, with specialist training in microneedling, IPL, laser therapies, chemical peels, and epidermal trauma management.
Her experience spans spa, education, and clinical settings. Alongside her role at Self Medical Aesthetics, she teaches aspiring professionals as a Beauty Therapy Lecturer. Sophia also has experience working in a national skin clinic alongside doctors and nurses, where she refined her skills in managing complex skin concerns with care and precision.

Kiri
PA & Clinic Coordinator
Kiri is the Operations Manager at Self, bringing over 15 years of experience in operations management and coordination. After graduating from Sunderland University with a First Class Honours degree in Business and Management, she began her career in the hospitality sector before transitioning into coordination and leadership roles. Kiri has also built her own successful business and now applies her freelance expertise to support organisations across various industries.
At Self, Kiri plays a vital role in overseeing the client journey, ensuring every step from pre-care to aftercare is smooth, efficient, and personalised. Her focus is on creating a welcoming, supportive environment where clients feel informed, cared for, and confident throughout their experience.
